I figured out why the pplz in so called developed countries are more advanced then us (Bangali) in the matter of teenage relationships..

In our country normally what happens is a guy talks to a girl for 2 days or 2 months and then one day he says the words "I love you" to the girl goin' straight up to her or on the phone, by letter, by telling friends or anyhow. Then the girl says, "I love you too". But look.. they don't even know each other well and there's only a little emotion/feelings grew between them in that time. Then they start talkin' on the phone at night and hanging around togather (which are termed as "dating") at daytime. Then comes holding hand while walkin', hugging, kissing, making out etc... Then one day some problems arises.. which results to "break up".

But in developed countries (talking about serious relationships but not what happens in movies) a guy goes up to a girl and says, "I like you".. the girl replies, "umm... I kinda like you too.. maybe we can hang around sometimes." Then later that night, they call each other and fix a date on the upcomming weekend. They go to that date and talk to each other so they can get to know each other. That date tells if they're gonna meet again like this or not. After several dates like this they kiss each other and emotions/feelings grow in them. They ask each other if they wanna be BF/GF. Then they'll maybe even introduce themselves to their families(which's impossible in our country :P ). Then if they see that everything's going along fine and if they don't see near possibility of a "break up".. they tell each other "I love you" (and they really know they do)...

Note the difference!! A Bangali couple would start a relation with "I love you" but a guy from developed country would make relationship permanent by those words.

So here's an advice for guys in our country. If you really like someone then talk to her first. Get to know her like no other. Express yourself. Build a good relationship... not a feeble one.
